Our Mentors and Tutor's are experienced educators who are passionate about helping students succeed. They are experts in their respective fields and work closely with each student to develop a customized learning plan that meets their unique needs.
Ashleigh McGuire founded RIPE mentoring in 2018 after her son was diagnosed with disabilities and found the school environment very hard, resulting in falling behind in school and only attending school 30% of the year on partial attendance.
As an Education Support Officer, a Tutor and Mentor, she couldn't find any programs or support available for her son's needs or help for families, who needed extra assistance and support for their child to succeed in education, when on partial attendance.
Therefore, she made it her mission to provide support founding RIPE mentoring tutors and mentors for families, schools and community organisations. In 2018, we started our mission to close this divide for all young people. We help families by fostering quality mentoring relationships produce by our RIPE mentors champions of their field creating meaningful relationships and fueling opportunity for young people in every space they occupy— from classrooms to workplaces, and beyond.

Empowered Tidda’s is a program designed to address the gender gap of the specific needs of Indigenous girls and young women to attend and remain engaged at school, complete Year 12 and move into work or further study. Community, Culture, Leadership and Wellbeing. We support the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander girls and young women. Our service provides a diverse range of activities to support and develop their self-esteem, confidence and life skills.
The ‘Stronger Warriors’ Mentoring program is designed to Support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Adolescent Boys aged 12 to 18 years first time offenders, who are given the opportunity to participate in a youth justice mentoring program. The program focuses on early intervention and prevention services aimed at improving children’s development, wellbeing and engagement in school and their education, supported by a range of interventions to address risk factors for reoffending.
